The Montoya family lost the Eldest Grandchild and a part of our hearts on January 5, 2016.  We all have searched back in our memories to remember times we spent with Matthew for the 30 years we had him with us.  The section will contain pictures and more pictures of our family's life with Matthew.

Honors of an American Hero

Declan Cade McClintock is Matthew's son.  He was only a few months old when Matthew was killed in Afganistan.   This little guy reminds the family of Matthew as a child.  We will all tell him stories of Matthew and his life as a child in Albuquerque. In this section we will place photos and statements of Declan as he grows up.

OUR MEMORIES OF A HERO

Matthew was born October 10, 1985.  His mother and her family raised him in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She  depended upon her family to help raise Matthew as a single mother in his early years.  Each family member has several memories of Matthew.  We will add these memories to this site for others to read.
